Our trip to Asia, Nov 2006

When Larry and I returned to the U.S. near the end of November, 2006 from a journey more memorable than any of those we had ever shared, I started to write a report of our travels to share with family and close friends. But I illustrated it so lavishly with photos that the Word file quickly grew too large to be sent as an e-mail attachment.

Instead, my son Steve transformed my photos and text into a web page. Do take a look! It doesn't need be just for my family and people who know me well; the account could interest anyone who visits this site. It gives a glimpse of our gypsy life at its best!

A few sample scenes are shown below. I hope they encourage you to read the whole thing (because there are so many photos, it may take a little while to download -- please be patient!). The link is here. By the way, if the photos of the misty Yellow Mountains tempt any of you to visit that enchanted landscape, I heartily recommend the guide who took us there: Helen (Qiang) Ding.
